It is an opportunity for researchers who want to do state of the art research in a dynamic scientific environment. The fellowship will enable scholars from all countries and all scientific disciplines to establish their scientific independence and do ground-breaking research.

For a period of 2 years, the fellows will be hosted at one of the institutes within the Polish Academy of Sciences , which is one of the most prestigious research institutions in Poland.

Those fellows will have the freedom for choosing their research area, research supervisor, host institute as well as secondment organisations best suitable for their research and career development.

Benefits

a monthly allowance of approx. €2,500 net.

Those, who decide to come to Poland together with their families, may be entitled to an additional family allowance.

Additionally, fellows will be granted a research budget of up to €93,000 per project.

It is important to mention that the second round of the call for the PASIFIC fellows is ongoing.

In fact, the second call, in which 15 PASIFIC fellows will be selected , opened from September 15th, 2021 and is expected to close on December 30th, 2021.

Recruited researchers will be notified about selection results after approx. 6 months. Selected fellows will be expected to go to Poland between July 2022 and October 2022.
