KAIST Scholarships for International Students

Education Level: MS, PhD

These scholarships are awarded to foreign candidates admitted at the university. The period of application as well as the procedure of selection for the KAIST Scholarships is the same as the application for admission.

Benefits 

The scholarship package includes (1) Tuition fee for four semesters for MS and eight semesters for PhD, (2) Health insurance, (3) Living costs equal to 350,000 KRW per month for MS or 400,000 KRW per month for PhD, and (4) For research assistants, additional Stipend can be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

For being awarded the scholarship, applicants need to maintain the GPA greater than 2.0 out of 4.3 at KAIST. Important Dates

Concerning dates for the online application. For the Spring Semester is from August to September, for the Fall Semester (Early) is from December to January, and for Fall Semester (Regular) is from March to April.
