Do you know that there are various scholarship opportunities for getting your studies funded while doing your studies in the People’s Republic of China, especially through the Presidential Scholarship? For instance, for someone who wants to pursue master or doctoral programs at the Qingdao University. There is a possibility to get such scholarship, if you meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in this article.

Who Should Apply?

❶Being a non-Chinese citizen, age: 18-40, and being in good health. Candidates for master’s studies should be under 35 years old.

❷Candidates shall be students planning to do Master’s Studies or Doctoral Studies commencing in September 2022.

❸Candidates must abide by the regulations and laws of the Chinese Government, behave well and must meet the criteria for admission into Doctoral and Master Programs in Qingdao University. 

❹Only candidates who have not got other kinds of scholarship or fund could submit applications for the Qingdao University Presidential Scholarship.

❺Applicants can apply for all the doctoral and master majors.

Benefits

The President Scholarship covers the living allowance (Doctorate students: 3,500 CNY per person while for Master student: 3,000 CNY per person), on-campus accommodation fee, comprehensive medical insurance expenses, and the tuition fee.

Important Dates and Application Submission

❶ Log in the foreign student application system of Qingdao university between February 1 and April 20, 2022.  Register and truthfully complete the required information online.

❷ Check the registration information, and then upload the proof of payment of the registration fee.

❸ You have to pay attention to the registration email reminder.

It is important to note that the application fee cannot be reimbursed. Candidates should send all the application documents before 20/04/2022. Generally, the results of admission will be published in the late June.
