CRG launches the Tenth Summer Internship Program for providing undergraduate students the chance for conducting summer research at the Centre for Genomic Regulation. This internship program is for encouraging undergraduate students, from any country, in the pursuit of a scientific career as well as for introducing them to an international laboratory experience.
At the Centre for Genomic Regulation you will find first class core technologies and a broad training portfolio in the international and multidisciplinary community.

Benefits
As there are various benefits from doing the Internship at Centre for Genomic Regulation. It is important to mention that you will benefit from an integrated training program and exciting international scientific environment, comprising access to state of the art infrastructure, seminars and lectures, specialized technological and scientific courses, career development and complementary skills training activities.
There are appointment conditions to be taken into consideration as outlined below:
❶All selected applicants will be offered a fellowship of 600€ per month.
❷Barcelona public transport ticket for 2 months (Zone1).
❸If the internship candidate is a Barcelona resident, he/she will be given one 1 return public transport ticket to the residence place (European ticket is up to 300€ while for Overseas is up to 800€)
❹Internship candidates have to provide their own health and accident insurance in circumstances it is not offered by their University.
❺Internship candidates are responsible for their own accommodation/ housing.
Participating in the CRG Summer Internship Program does not imply any contractual relationship between CRG and the beneficiary. If the intern, for any reason, voluntarily interrupts or withdraws from the internship program, any unduly received payments must be reimbursed.

Who Should Apply?
Eligibility criteria for the CRG Summer Internship include:
❶Being an undergraduate student in Life Sciences as well as related subjects (e.g. Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Medicine, Chemistry, Biomedicine) with an excellent academic performance.
❷Master students are not accepted.
❸2 full years (4 semesters) of undergraduate course work finished by the time the commencement of the internship.
❸Applicants may not have got an undergraduate degree during the internship period (Summer 2022).
❹Applicants may not have previously conducted a “CRG Summer Internship”.
❺Having a high level of English.
❻Having the availability for doing a student placement/internship agreement through your University.
Internship positions will be offered on a competitive basis by considering the motivation & reference letter(s) as well as the student’s academic records.
