The duration of the research scholarship program ranges from 3 to 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates have to meet these conditions:

1. Being a holder or PhD candidate with a citizenship of a country other than Türkiye.
2. Applicants must have finished their PhD studies or being at the dissertation writing stage.
3. Having an official invitation letter/acceptance letter from a university in Türkiye for doing research (for getting the invitation letter/acceptance letter, the candidate should individually contact the university).
4. Candidates also need to meet these conditions:
   – Preferably having less than 45 years of age on the application date,
   – For doctoral students, candidates need to be registered at a university doctoral program outside Türkiye and being at the dissertation writing stage,
   – Possession of a PhD diploma for PhD holders,
   – Meeting the language proficiency requirements for doing the research.
   – if the candidate will collect personal data using the methods like survey, experiment, practice, focus group discussion. The candidate needs to have the “Ethics Committee Approval Certificate” from the Ethics Committee of the university;
   – If a research work will be conducted on archaeological sites and historical monuments with non-public information, documents from organizations and institutions, the candidate needs to have “Legal Permit” taken from a related governmental institution.
